Holding Still

Here are a few pics from an illustrated memoir about our eldest daughter Bronwen – keep coming back to this and then putting it away. Been enjoying sifting through and getting ready to add more. It’s not just my own story so feels like a big responsibility. The fourth picture is Michael Jackson dangling his new baby over a balcony a few decades ago but this is not his story either! I’ve tried several versions and these are some of the images from the most recent. Originally I imagined the book to be square and have cropped these recent images to make them square as I think I prefer them. I’ve also taken off all the handwritten words as I like them better as stand alone images. Sometimes when I get stuck it seems to be a good idea to do something completely different for a while and when I come back to the original thing I find some of my questions are easier to answer.
