
New Arrangements, 2023
Using materials found growing outside, I cut, sewed, made a drawing of and pressed a different arrangement every day. Each could be seen as a single element, one of a pair with the day before or one of a group of any size.
The daily drawings show how the colours change over time. Often pink specially of rose petals become quite yellow soon after they are pressed.

Some colours, even very bright keep their strength while others change to an equally vibrant but different hue.
The video below is to give an idea of the slow, meditative process of making and drawing the circles.
