Still Here (Comfort Blanket), 2020
One chain link every day, accompanied by a daily journal. I anticipated finding fabrics out and about, thereby creating a record of where I’d been – instead they were mostly found at home, some decades old and given to me by my grandmother, others leftovers from cosplay outfits for my children. Each is backed with wool felt. Now it’s ’finished I’m experimenting withdrawing, animating and playing with it.
