2014 outdoor pictures

Taking a different medium for each month I made daily pictures of something seen outside. Took photographs of each picture and created handmade books, as well as an animation showing all the changing images arranged in a grid on months. Worked from memories, photographs, daily drawings. Partly inspired by Sir John Wittewronge’s weather diaries from 300 years ago kept by Hertfordshire Archives and was shown as part of the Threads of Time exhibition.
