Orchid Day, Saturday 1st August
Always enjoy working with St Albans Museum and Gallery, and on Saturday was delighted to deliver ‘Orchid Day’. Thanks so much to all who came and worked so hard with great enthusiasm. This session was linked to the exhibition: A Growing City, on until 31st August (and well worth seeing if you haven’t seen it yet).
Here are a few pictures of some of the amazing work made on the day. The focus was on exploring orchids in different drawing media referring to real moth orchids, photographs of orchids and pictures of orchids.

Lovely session with Open Art Box in Stevenage and Letchworth. Participants made small beautiful books. Always such a pleasure to work with Open Art Box CIC who promote participation in the visual arts to enhance and improve the wellbeing of those affected by dementia in Hertfordshire.
