“I made a picture of something I’d seen outside for every day of 2014. Each month I used a different medium, process and subject matter, ranging from drawings of my dog, photographs of the sky, paintings of my garden and drawings of memories. I photographed the pictures and made monthly handmade books and prints.”
The February section was made at Dot-to-Dot gallery during Jane’s residency. The work in progress was at the Threads of Time exhibition in Hertford, at Fenners in June for The Longest Day, at Letchworth Arts Centre in July and at Courtyard Arts, Hertford in November. The diaries were also shown at Turn the Page in Norfolk in May 2015, along with a drop-in workshop, where people created their own mini weather diaries.
